How do I apply?
You can find all of our vacancies via our Job Search function at the top of this page. This will take you through to a page where you can register your details and interest in our vacancies. Once completed, you will receive an email with a Link to our Application Form. Please complete the Application Form fully (CV and covering letter optional) . We don’t foresee you running into any problems with the application process, but if you do, please email us at [email protected]
Who will be dealing with my application?
At Equilibrium Healthcare, we have a team of dedicated and experienced recruiters who have an in-depth knowledge of healthcare and our services. We work closely with the hiring managers on all of our candidate applications.
I’ve applied for a position, but haven’t received a response?
You should have received confirmation of your application via email. We endeavour to reply to all candidates within 14 days of applying. If you haven’t heard from us after this time, then unfortunately you have not been successful.

What is the interview process?
For those who have applied to work in one of our services: Following a successful application, a member of the recruitment team will be in touch to invite you to attend a face-to-face interview (or video interview dependent on government guidelines). At this interview, you will have the opportunity to meet your potential line manager and potentially service users and tenants.
The interview process for head office/central roles is dependent on the position.
Will I know if I have been successful or not?
Due to the number of Applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every Application. If you have not heard from us within 14 days of your application then unfortunately you have not been successful.
What happens if I am successful?
Welcome to the team! If successful, you will receive a conditional offer of employment with us, highlighting the key terms of your offer including your job title and hourly rate or salary.
You will be contacted by a member of the recruitment team to complete the necessary compliance and onboarding documentation. This includes documents such as your Right to Work and Health Questionnaire, DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service), and references covering the last three years of your employment.
If I am not successful, can I re-apply in the future?
Do I need a DBS to work at Equilibrium Healthcare?
Yes, due to the nature of our organisation, applicants who are offered employment will be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check at the appropriate level for their role before commencement of employment.
How long does a DBS take to be completed?
Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this question. Sometimes a DBS can be received within 2-3 weeks. On other occasions a DBS can take months. This is however out of our control and we would ask that you bear with us during this process and thank you for you patience.
What references will I need to provide?
Equilibrium Healthcare works in line with the NHS Safer Recruitment Practice and requires at least three years of work history together with a care reference if you have previously worked in care.
Do Equilibrium Healthcare provide working Sponsorship?
