What support will I have with my CPD (Continuing Professional Development)?

We are committed to supporting you with your Revalidation to make this time-consuming task easier for you. We also pay for our nurse’s NMC Registration Fees.

What are the career opportunities with Equilibrium Healthcare?

Equilibrium Healthcare are passionate about developing and investing in our employees, we will always look at ways in which we can support your career path. Many of our registered and nurse managers started out their Equilibrium Healthcare careers as a registered nurse.

Whether you are newly qualified or a registered manager, we will invest both professionally and academically in your career.

Do you offer Preceptorships?

We offer a great Preceptorship that sees our newly qualified nurses qualify after just six months on average.

What type of shifts are available at Equilibrium Healthcare?

We offer a wide variety of shifts. Your shifts can run from8am – 8pm for day shifts and 8pm – 8am for night shifts. Your shift will include at least one one-hour break throughout the day of night. It is unlikely that you will find yourself working a mix of day and night shifts in a given week.

At Equilibrium Healthcare we factor in your first handover within your hours, so there is no need to come in early. We will always endeavour to be as flexible as possible. Equilibrium Healthcare are an equal opportunities employer.

What does an induction with Equilibrium Healthcare look like, and is this paid?

We ensure our employees are trained and ready for their first shift with Equilibrium Healthcare. Our inductions are comprehensive ensuring everything is covered. The Equilibrium Healthcare inductions are paid.

Your first week will involve practical mandatory training, from moving and handling to first aid we ensure you have everything covered.

Your second week will see you shadow fellow nurses and work alongside your peers to gain hands-on knowledge with practical learning. You will get to know your service, service users and service processes including morning and evening handovers.

Additional support following your second week is always available. Your line manager will always be accommodating, supporting you throughout your career with Equilibrium Healthcare.

What if I already have my training documents before I start?

Even if you have your training documents you must partake in the Equilibrium Healthcare mandatory training. Each service and each healthcare provider is different and have different processes. We are committed to providing all our employees with the necessary knowledge and training in order to succeed within their careers.
